Constellations

Constellations is a tool for militant and research purposes to preserve, study and circulate photographic records of artistic-political actions taking place in public spaces, in different territories in Argentina from the late 1990s to the present.

It is a horizontal, collaborative and self-organized project. We form a community of heterogeneous registers that focuses on the intersectionality of struggles and the sharing of discourses and narratives about them, relying on alliances with cultural and university institutions to guarantee the circulation, accessibility and permanence of our archives over time.

The technology of the Constellations platform was developed in Latin America by Sutty, a cooperative of developers who promote a sustainable and ecological web, in an attempt to evade the commodification of our stories and the monopoly of large platforms over our images.
